Louise Rennison wohnt in Brighton, dem San Francisco Englands (abgesehen von der Sonne, den Amerikanern, der Golden-Gate-Brücke und den Erdbeben). Sie hat lange Zeit beim Kabarett gearbeitet und ist zur Zeit viel als Journalistin für verschiedene englische TV-Shows unterwegs. Daneben schreibt sie für einige Jugendmagazine und arbeitet an weiteren Büchern über Georgia Nicolson. Louise Rennison hat zwei Goldfische, Finn und Bjork, die, so die Autorin, ihre größten Fans sind.
