Although quite overwhelming at times, I now know that I will do everything in my power to never sacrifice that freedom again. And the chances of that actually happening have increased a thousand times over since I now realize no one ever ASKED me to give up my freedom in the first place - I just did that on my own. I did it for jobs, I did it for my marriage, and I did it to myself. I did that very wrong thing for all the right reasons ... and now I find myself wondering ... how do you STAY free? How does one regain said freedom if it's been lost in a relationship? How do you rediscover it after you've left a relationship? And how in the world do you retain it if you're entering a new one? Questions turn into answers in their own sweet time, and I woke up completely refreshed at 2 a.m. this morning, feeling like today is the day to start pulling it all together - the book that is; I've been working on the life part MUCH longer than that!
