Kathryn Atkins is a professional writer and the owner of Writing World, LLC, which she has owned since 2004. She has written for magazines and newspapers, and has contributed to both print and online anthologies. From business writing to poems, from short stories to blogs, and from guest and ghostwriting for newsletters, websites and more, she has been writing professionally for many years. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Orange County Register and OC Metro Magazine. Closer to home, Ms. Atkins has been published in the Seal Beach Sun, T h e News Enterprise, and the Orange County Breeze. Kathryn's mom recreated one of Kathryn's early poems in a cross-stitch piece, which is framed and hangs in her office. As president of the Long Beach branch of the California Writers Club (a 501(c)3 non- profit educational organization hailing back to 1909) Kathryn helps newer writers find their voice.
