Buying, selling, investing, developing, trusts, probates, distressed properties, flipping, holding long term for wealth building, I eat and sleep real estate. It is something that I have a deep, deep passion for and I love the deal. I am an acquisitions specialist as well as a liquidator. I have skills in negotiations that even I wouldn't want to be negotiating with myself. I've been hustling and grinding for as long as I can remember. I had my first job when I was 12 years old because I wanted to buy a wetsuit so I could surf here in Southern California all year round. I was born in Long Beach and raised in Seal Beach, California. I've traveled the world and still love calling Long Beach my home.For me, real estate is fun. It's exciting, it's scary. It's all of these things all rolled into one and it's an amazing way to build wealth, generational wealth, that could change your children's children's lives. I have successfully bought, sold, built, developed, flipped, held for my investors, bought for my investors over half a billion dollars in real estate. I've done this from stuff that's 30 to 40 thousand, all the way up to multiple millions of dollars and everything in between. But my biggest accomplishment is not in my financial success, not in how much money I have in the bank and not how many properties I own, my biggest accomplishment is my family.I am a husband and I'm a dad of two amazing boys, Jackson and Grayson Carter. They are the light of my life. They are my 'why', and I love my family deeply. I am very blessed and extremely grateful for everything that I have. I'm extremely grateful for where I've been, where I'm at and where I'm going. For me, I'm in a continuous state of gratitude. I work extremely hard, but I also turn my phone on airplane mode twice a day. This is crucial in the work-life balance part. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., my phone goes on airplane mode. No texts, no emails, no social media, just family. Just me at home, with my family connecting with my family. I put the kiddos to bed and turn my phone back on from 8 to 10 p.m. to finish out the day and then I turn my phone back on airplane mode from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
