Autorenporträt
Abhay K. is a poet-diplomat and the author of seven poetry collections. His recent poetry books include The Eight-Eyed Lord of Kathmandu (Bloomsbury India) and The Prophecy of Brasilia (Colletivo Editorial, Brazil). He is the editor of CAPITALS (Bloomsbury India) and 100 Great Indian Poems (Bloomsbury India). His poems have appeared in several literary journals including Poetry Salzburg Review and Asia Literary Review and have been translated into many languages. Abhay K.'s poem-song, 'Earth Anthem,' has been translated into thirty languages and performed by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Theatre of Brazil. He received the SAARC Literary Award in 2013 and was invited to record his poems at the Library of Congress in Washington DC in 2018.
