Over the past 13 years, Mary Johns Wilson has lived in Montgomery, Elmore, and Autauga counties. While she's always loved exploring, her job with the Alabama Farmers Federation as co-host of Simply Southern TV has given her unique insight to the best of everything in the area, from the Capital City to the smaller towns and even rural areas. She enjoys visiting new places with her husband, Matt. This is her second book written for Reedy Press, having previously authored 100 Things to Do in Alabama Before You Die, 2nd edition (2023).
