Are you a caregiver that feels discouraged and out of touch with your old life? There are many reasons why caregivers, as the direct result of their constant and time consuming, caregiving responsibilities, get frustrated and depressed. There are many serious issues. Loneliness, fatigue, anger, entrapment, frustration, lost love, resentment, defensiveness, to name just a few, and the list goes on. Nearly 20 of those emotional and physical issues are dealt with in this Short-Book. 100 answers and solutions are provided. The book makes a strong case for caregivers restoring their confidence, hope and happiness and succeeding in an environment they didn't fully expect. The numbers of dedicated and well-intended individuals who have volunteered to provide care for a spouse, family member, friend or companion are staggering. Over 44 million caregivers are providing loving service to over 60 million loved patients with far too little information and assistance. Soon 10 million Millennials will join their ranks, extending an exponential rise in the number of those engaged in this remarkable work. And still the numbers keep growing while the frustrations of the caregivers continue to increase. Advances in medical research technology, the shrinking number of hospital Geriatric departments, time pressures on physicians, and increasing expectations further compound this caregiving scenario. In what should be an environment of love and understanding, many startled caregiver feel trapped in a deplorable, even unforgivable dilemma. The bottom line is they are worn out and many want out. This book is intended to restore their hope and confidence that all can be well.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
John Ruppel began dealing with medical problems when his wife was seriously injured in an automobile accident at the age of 30. Then came surgeries for her back, shoulders, wrists, knees, gall bladder and bouts with shoulder pain, arthritis, Type 2 diabetes, colitis, kidney disease and finally infection in her wrists. John, her committed caregiver, has found new and expanded understanding and empathy in providing support in that service. He has had a great deal of experience counseling other individuals in caregiving situations, and has been stunned in his research about the emotional and physical trauma of caregivers generally. He has a passionate commitment to help them find new ways to overcome their stressful situations and restore their initial love. He received a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Utah. He is a lifetime retail executive, CEO of many companies, and has written and presented over 60 business courses for western colleges and universities. He wrote a complete, small business, online curriculum for China through a western university. John lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife, surrounded locally with all five children and their families. https: //www.caregiversbooks.com
