Growing up in Brooklin, Ontario, Maxx Coughlan was bitter, angry, and overtly pessimistic. As he entered university, however, something changed-the negative thoughts subsided, and he began to live the life he wanted to live. After almost losing his foot in a freak accident, he began compiling a list of the 100 specific things he believes directly contributed to him becoming a more positive and happier person. From humility, active listening, and random acts of kindness to positive affirmations, and learning to say no, Maxx offers a thoughtful exploration of self-improvement for young adults and a call to action for each concept so that readers may ascertain concrete methods of implementing positive sustainable change in their lives.
