Olly Richards is a foreign language expert and teacher. He speaks over eight languages and has authored and curated over 100 books, both independently and through his publishing house, StoryLearning Press. Olly's mission is to help students around the world to learn languages through the power of story. His unique language-learning method, StoryLearning (R), is the basis for his popular book collections and language courses. Olly has created 20+ online courses in 17 languages and his YouTube channel (@storylearning) has over 320,000 subscribers. Through his channel, Olly shares how the StoryLearning method works in a variety of situations, sharing unique facts, tips, and motivation to keep learning. But that's not all! Olly is also the mastermind behind CeOLT (Certificate of Online Language Teaching), the only language teaching certification that teaches students how to teach, implement, and grow a thriving online tutoring business. The certification is accredited by the CPD Certification Service, the world's leading and largest independent accreditation institution. Olly started learning his first foreign language at the age of 19, when he bought a one-way ticket to Paris. With no exposure to languages growing up, and no natural talent for languages, Olly had to figure out how to learn French from scratch. Twenty years later, Olly has studied languages from around the world and is considered an expert in the field. He has appeared in international press, from the BBC and the Independent to El Pais and Gulf News. He has featured in language documentaries and authored language courses for the Open University.
