Nigel Melican is one of the most recognized tea technologists in the industry, with a focus on sustainable cultivation. He is the president of the European Specialty Tea association and was the 2018 World Tea Expo recipient of the John Harney Lifetime Achievement Award. He lives in Country Roscommon, Ireland. Known as America's Tea Sage, James Norwood Pratt is a global authority on tea and wine. He is the author of Tea Lover's Treasury and James Norwood Pratt's Tea Dictionary as well as the 2015 World Tea Expo recipient of the John Harney Lifetime Achievement Award. He lives in California, USA with his family. Maria Uspenski is the founder and CEO of The Tea Spot and the bestselling author of Cancer Hates Tea. At the 2017 World Tea Expo, she was recognized as the Top Tea Health Advocate. She currently lives in Colorado, USA. The founder of the Tea Sommelier program, Shabnam Weber is the president of the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada and the vice-chair and Canadian representative on the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations' Intergovernmental Group on Tea. She lives in Ontario, Canada. Gao Zijun is the first American to complete a masters of tea science at Zhejiang University in China. She is a former tea buyer for Peet's Coffee and Mighty Leaf Tea, and the former director of tea at Teforia. She lives in North Carolina, USA.
