Autorenporträt
Leigh Miano lives on the Cape with her husband, Paul, and son Ethan. She is a project manager by day and a writer of children's books at night. She has vacationed on the Cape since she was in high school and moved to the Cape in July 1999. Her mother summered in Truro when she was a teen and moved to the Cape permanently in 1985. Her daughter and son from a previous marriage also live on the Cape, as well as many other relatives who call Cape Cod home. The Miano home on the Cape is a frequent destination of family and close friends year round. However, summer is always the busiest and the best time for memories. The author is a self-taught artist and provided all the illustrations for 12 Days of Summer.
