Five different bacterial strains were isolated from Cartap Hydrochloride applied agricultural soil. Plasmid profiling was performed to observe the different sizes of plasmids in those bacterial strains. These information will be proved beneficial for the isolation of pesticide degrading gene from these bacterial strains in future. The fragments of 992bp and 996bp of 16S rRNA gene were amplified for molecular identification which can be used for the molecular phylogeny of these bacterial strains.
