Kathryn Lomer is the author of Extraction of Arrows, which won the Anne Elder Award and was shortlisted for the John Bray Award for Poetry. Her novel for young adults, The Spare Room, was named a Children's Book Council Notable Book for Older Readers in 2005 and was shortlisted for The Adelaide Festival Awards for Literature.
