The Stella Artois Championships 2001 were played on the grass courts at Queens Club, London 11-17 June, as one of the main warm ups for the Wimbledon Championships. It was one by Australian player Lleyton Hewitt for the second consecutive year. The Queen's Club Championships is an annual tournament for male tennis players, held on grass courts at the Queen's Club in West Kensington, London. Between 1970 and 1989 it was part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit. The event is now an ATP World Tour 250 series tournament on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour. Its sponsored name is currently the AEGON Championships.
