Stephanie Nolen, geboren 1971 in Montreal, ist Afrika-Korrespondentin der kanadischen Zeitung The Globe and Mail. Die vielfach ausgezeichnete Journalistin gewann zweimal den »Newspaper Award for International Reporting«, dreimal den »Amnesty International Award for Human Rights Reporting« und 2007 den »PEN Canada/Paul Kidd Courage Prize«. Sie lebt mit ihrem Lebensgefährten und ihrem kleinen Sohn in Johannesburg.
