Autorenporträt
Bandara Bandaranayake Completed his B.Ed. (Honours) Degree and MPhil Degree at University of Colombo. He completed his PhD at Monash University on a Monash Graduate Scholarship.After his first degree, he joined the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka and held several teaching and senior administrative positions. After completing his PhD, and after a short tenure at Monash University, he joined the public service. He held several senior positions at the Department of Internal Affairs (New Zealand), the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (Australia), and the Department of Education and Training (Australia) for nearly three decades.His research interests are in educational governance, public sector ethics and integrity, public policy analysis, cultural anthropology, social psychology and evolutionary psychology. He has published several books and number of journal articles. He is currently engaged in independent research, consultancy, and counselling.
