The Author qualified as an accountant at the early age of 24 in a small practice in the north east of England, on qualifying he joined one of the largest international companies in the UK. This was an eye opener leading him to spend over thirty years in many different countries across Europe, Africa and America in countless different sectors (tanneries to paint factories, insurance companies to pathology laboratories to gaming and Esports companies) doing what came naturally - helping businesses improve performance. In between writing, helping companies improve performance and zoom conferences he enjoys being with his family and walking his dogs in the Cotswolds.
