What my memoir attempts to do is keep you interested in my life story while simply illustrating the wealth building secrets of vesting and forfeitures. Without a complete understanding of these two words you could cost yourself thousands of dollars by switching jobs too soon as my father almost did early in his career. Mr. Mazda is an independent stockbroker who has spent more than four decades of his career educating clients about investments and financial literacy. Since 2000, Mr. Mazda has been with Cantella & Co. Inc which has now merged with Cambridge Investment Research Inc. as a General Securities Principal where he focuses on investment research and portfolio design. Prior to that he spent ten years as Chief Financial Officer of Nationwide Discount Sleep Centers, and five years with American Trust Co. of Hawaii Inc. as a 401(k) ESOP specialist. He studied at Drew University and completed additional course work at Drexel University before beginning his career in 1979 as a member of Barclay Associates. Mr. Mazda is the executive producer of "401(k) Magic", an award-winning children's film. The film won three of six Telly awards for excellence: Childrens Audience, Social Issues, and Education.
