Anissa Marie Bass is an actress, executive producer, nurse and veteran. She served eight years in the Army National Guard with Honor. Anissa has appeared in several film productions in North Carolina; T.V./Web/Film credits include A Polished Soul, Tale of a Fayetteville Vet, Michael Rae Anderson 2020, Bondage 2017; Seasons 1-3, Karlton Clay (Producer) It's All Good 2016 Co-Producer, D"Lo Darryl D Hutchins. Anissa is a twenty-six-year Licensed Practical Nurse, who recently worked closely with Covid patients at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Anissa is a compassionate caregiver to her patients, and she has recently started travel nursing and contract nursing assignments so she can stay in full control of her schedule and have plenty of time for her family and her many projects. After moving to a larger city, Anissa noticed a shift in her spirituality and a calling that allowed her freedom to write this book for you. She has a generous spirit in character and loves calming discord amongst friends and family. Anissa is a champion for breast health and combating sexual violence. She loves to create and be around creative people who inspire her. Anissa loves spending time with family the most and seafood is her favorite food. Anissa faced the BIGGEST LIFE LESSON when she became a caregiver and support for her husband of twenty years, Anthony Leon Bass. Anthony and Anissa, along with their daughters battled three traumatic months as they fought against Advanced Gastric Cancer. Anthony lost his battle and exited this life on August 10, 2022. Anissa is now an advocate for Stomach Cancer Awareness. They have three daughters, Natasha, Aniyah and Autumn. Anthony has one son, Anthony Symere. Anissa also has two Goldendoodles, Kuro and Leo. Anissa resides in Charlotte NC. This is her first book.
