After graduation, the author worked as a Community Pharmacist in Cathedral pharmacy, Asmara, Eritrea, for 45 years. He is a former President and a founding member of the Eritrean Pharmaceutical Association (Eripa). He authored brochures, posters and public campaign fliers for Eripa. He has conducted several interviews, seminars, workshops, public education program and community events on Radio, Television, YouTube, Facebook and other social media, both in Eritrea and the diaspora. He has published four books. Two novels in Tigrinya - 1st, "¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿" in 2019, 2nd, "¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿" in 2020, & the English versions, "Rivalry between Tesfom & Habtom," & "Covenant between Medhn & Alganesh" in 2022 and 2023 respectively
