Mark Goldman is a CPA and the founder of MGR Accounting Recruiters, a niche recruiting firm placing accounting professionals in the San Antonio, Texas area. He has hosted "Where Accountants Go: The Accounting Careers Podcast" for over four years, and also authored the book "49 Tips For A Successful Accounting Career." Mark graduated from St. Mary's University, a private university located in San Antonio, Texas. He worked in public accounting handling tax and general business consulting, and then entered the employment industry in 1993. In 2007, he started the recruiting firm MGR Accounting Recruiters. In 2016, he started the Where Accountants Go podcast. He has served in several professional associations at both the board level and committee level, including the Texas Society of CPAs, their local San Antonio Chapter, the Institute of Management Accountants, Financial Executives International, and the American Payroll Association. He has also led the career transition ministry at his church. On a personal level, Mark was fortunate enough to be able to marry his high school sweetheart, Sayuki, and they are blessed with a wonderful family.
