Angela Akaemova é doutorada em História pela Universidade Estatal de Donetsk (2002), onde é especializada em publicidade política, imagem, relações públicas políticas e semiótica. Tem cerca de 80 trabalhos científicos publicados na Ucrânia, Bielorrússia, Rússia e Geórgia.
