Mark D. Williams is a teacher and writer, and has published 20 books and written hundreds of articles for magazines and newspapers, including Texas Sporting Journal, Backpacker, Dallas Morning News, Cowboys and Indians, Southwest Fly Fishing, ESPN, and more. Williams lives in Texas and has traveled the world, but he finds himself gravitating more and more toward New Mexico, where he has a second home in Taos. He spends much of the year there writing.
