The Centre Professionnel pour Handicapés Kikesa, or CPH.KIKESA for short, is one of the few success stories of a Congolese association that has been in existence for 50 years, and to commemorate this anniversary, various events have been organized, including a scientific day and a day of recreational activities.Apart from the acknowledgements, the preface by Professor Léon MBADU KHONDE, Professor of Orthopedagogy, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Kinshasa, and the introduction, this volume is a compilation of participants' accounts and reflections since its creation. They are: Co-founders of the Center; Former students, now leaders; Students still in training; Center staff; Various guests and supporters.The Editorial Committee has taken care to include the speeches made by the Co-founders on the history of its creation and future prospects, as well as the texts of scientific papers from a symposium organized for the occasion, while wishing a longlife to the Center.
