Elena E McDavid was a former teacher of children in Baltimore City Public Schools and the State of Maryland. She is the mother of one son. Her work experience includes working with many people with disabilities and challenges. She has volunteered for voter registration and marched with the author in marches in Baltimore and Washington, District of Columbia. Ms. McDavid has learned how to service her community from Rosellen McDavid. She had the pleasure of meeting Muhammad Ali in 1982 at the Mosque #6 on Wilson Street. While writing this story about Muhammad Ali and Rosellen's life experiences, the co-author felt like she was in a time capsule and experiencing life in the 1960s. She is now an inspiring author, working on two children's books and a novel.
