Many devices and consumers are used according to the type of work that needs to be done during the day in social and business life. While active power consumers represent the useful power they need, reactive power is an undesirable electrical power component at very high values. This book presents an inverter that can produce a 9-level alternating voltage from peak to peak and a switched and timed system that can add active and reactive power components to the load or transmission line at different time intervals. While the converted power quality is ensured by a 9-level inverter in the total conversion time, the active and reactive power components on the load are provided by a pair of reverse-connected and diode-blocking power switches. The proposed system is tested on different loads for different time intervals and many results are obtained. In the results obtained, in addition to obtaining power conversion with low harmonic distortion, power compensation is effectively performed at desired time intervals by effectively changing power components at different time intervals.

Erol Can received his master's degree from the Electrical and Electronics Department of the Karadeniz Technical University in 2010. After that, he received his doctorate degree from the electric department of Gazi University in 2016. He is working as an assistant professor at Erzincan University.
