Don Piper es ministro ordenado desde 1985. Ha aparecido en numerosos programas de radio y televisión y le han entrevistado para artículos de cantidad de periódicos y revistas. Es fundador de Don Piper Ministries, y popular disertante en los EE.UU y otros países. Él y su esposa Eva tienen tres hijos adultos y viven en Pasadena, Texas. Cecil Murphey es el premiado autor de más de noventa libros que incluyen Rebel with a Cause [Rebelde con causa] y Gifted Hands [Manos con dones]. Murphey vive en Atlanta, Georgia.
