Written by Kate McPhail, author of The Money Tree, Rollin' Into Mystery, Tale of Tails, and No Escape!, this new adventure book has just been re-released by Dragon Wings Publishing of Murphy, Oregon. Kate was secretary of Marion County Search and Rescue's Radio Emergency Action Citizen Team (REACT) for two years. She then became an advisor to Post18, which is a group of teens aged 14-18. During her time as an advisor, she participated in the classroom and field training exercises along with the recruits. She also was certified as a level 2 EMT. Ms. McPhail states, "I loved being a part of this group! They truly are tomorrow's leaders." Kate is currently working on a Teacher Resource book and several more children's books.
