""99 Consequences of India"" is a collection of ninety-nine hand drawn pictures, created by Dicky Graham and Felix Wentworth when travelling around India in the Summer of 2005. The game ""consequences"" is based on an old parlour game, whereby players wrote words on a sheet of paper, folded it to conceal part of the writing, and then passed it on to the next player for a further contribution. The technique was adapted into pictures by the Surrealists in 1925. Andres Breton, the principle founder of the group named the game ""Exquisite Corpse"" after playing the game and deriving the phrase ""Le Cadavre equis boria le vin nouveau"" (The exquisite corpse will drink the new wine).
