The book consists of 47 poems written by a baby boomer on various topics that are common with other baby boomers: family, friends, jobs, music, sports, community, current affairs, and the like. I think most baby boomers and their families can relate to the various topics presented.

Born: Cinco de Mayo, 1947 in Bloomington, Illinois. Illinois Wesleyan grad, 1969. I previously taught and coached at the junior high level for nine years. Since teaching school I have predominately been in the furniture business as an owner, manager, asst. manager, and sales person. I presently work at an Amish made solid hardwood furniture store. I had an autobiography published in 2006 that I plan to have republished in the months to come. As far as the poems go I started to write a few after my book was published and rather liked the process. The wording and rhyming seemed to come pretty easily so whenever a particular topic of interest would occur it seems like a poem would follow. I sincerely enjoy writing these gems ( ? ) and hope the readers do as well.
