My book is a lot of different poems I have written. I was born in east Los Angeles on August 7, 1954. My parents were Mary Ann and Justin Prudeaux. I was the third youngest of 6 kids. My parents divorced when I was 3 years old, after my youngest sister was born. My mother moved us to Massachusetts after the earthquake hit in the San Fernando Valley, where we lived in 1971. My parents divorced when I was 3 years old, after my youngest sister was born. My mother moved us to Massachusetts after the earthquake hit in the San Fernando Valley, where we lived in 1971. I lived there til I married. I had 4 sons, 2 before we married, and 2 with my husband. I had an abusive husband (he would move us from state to state) and in 1993, I left him, soon after I divorced him. I bought my own home, where I raised my sons. I worked 3 jobs to keep food, electric and our house payments. I kept our home for 9 years. I got sick and I lost my home, then I moved back to Massachusetts from Tucson. I've been writing since I was 9 years old. I had the best schooling. I went to Catholic school for my whole life. I've been to 2 colleges. I've since retired from illness. I have diabetes very bad with neuropathy in my feet and hands. I reside with my son and his young son. I have 13 grandchildren from my 3 oldest sons, my baby has none. I write just about everyday and its the love of my life. I thank God for giving me that talent.
