We hunger and thirst for new harbors of safety, stability, meaning, purpose, and hope. In A Biblical Church With a Future I have presented an alternative vision for a paradigm of church, church structure, church leadership, and mission. Beware however, for I am a lame channel for articulating, let along understanding, the revelation of God's extravignat love in Jesus the Christ. My understanding, like everyone s, is dependent upon God s grace. I pray that as we experience God s grace together He will give us eyes to see land on the horizon.

George S. Steffey has served in both urban and suburban settings, with youth, as a pastor, and in public ministries since 1964. Since 1989 he has been a Chaplain at the East Liberty Family Health Care Center. He resides with his wife, Nancy, in Leedsdale, PA, USA. They have three married sons, a daughter, and seven grandchildren.
