This work was aimed at characterization of bioactive components of endophytic fungi isolated from the stem bark of Sclerocarya birrea plant using FT-IR, NMR and EI-MS and base on the antimicrobial activity, these two endophytic fungi (Fusarium oxysporum and Penicillium sp) were selected and fermented for large scale production on potato dextrose broth and solid rice media respectively. Their crude ethyl acetate extract was fractionated and purified over silca-gel column chromatography. From the spectral analysis, fraction SB7-FO-F10 was characterized as 1-Hexyl-6-(-3-methoxy)-hex-2-enoate.
