Are you someone who is struggling with a receding hairline? Are you clutching onto the hair you have left? Are you nervous about going bald? I understand what you're experiencing. I have been through it and have come out of the other side with a new found confidence in the way I look. The journey wasn't easy. The struggle isn't just with your appearance changing, but with your confidence and identity as well. This book is a guide of 50 tips based on my regression which I am hoping will help you deal with the receding and balding process. It describes a number of different stages, starting with the moment you realise your hair is going, and ending with the realisation that being bald is not a bad thing. Bald is beautiful.
Autorenporträt
This is James Silverthorne's first project, of what will hopefully be many. What started as a variety of sketches based on his slowly receding hairline became a collection of drawings and tips to help those going through the same.James' inspiration comes from his vast collection of graphic novels. These range from superhero stories to self-help books. Two of his favourite authors and cartoonists are Gene Luen Yang and Adrian Tomine who combine humour and heart in compelling narratives to keep the reader engaged. Their illustrations are some that James has used to practice, and improve, his own drawing ability. His professional career has always been design focused. He is currently working as a CAD Technician which involves a lot of technical drawing and working to specific detail. This book has been a way for James to flex his creative mind and produce something that can continually help others.
