Prasanna Mohanty is a journalist, researcher and author of "An Unkept Promise: What Derailed the Indian Economy" (Sage Publications, 2021). His area of work includes macroeconomics, social, socio-economic development, law and justice and public, corporate and environmental governance. He has worked in several national news organizations and think tanks. His articles have appeared in international media platforms. Since 2021, he has been writing opinion pieces in Fortune India. He studied B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons) and MA in Journalism. He is also an amateur photographer and wildlife enthusiast.
