Why was it kept a secret from me? Why didn't someone just tell me? The man that was raising me, he wasn't my biological father. I was around and spoke to my biological father, but I knew him as my cousin's uncle. The family honored my mother's temporary husband's request to keep it a secret. I struggled as a child educationally, later as an adult with fornication, adultery, womanizing, drunkenness, partying, prison, financial instability, as well as raising my son. I was finally convicted of changing my life around. I'm thinking when I become more responsible for my actions, committed to one-woman things will get better, but that wasn't the case. The trials and tribulations that later came from my marriages, exposed the old man in me, that I thought was long gone. God is continuing to help me stay clean as possible, just like a good father does. I am ShaDaroil Weldon Lea, I was born in Washington D.C. on June 19 1963. I was raised in a D.C. suburb called Seat Pleasant, from the age of 7. I graduated from Largo High School in 1981, joined the Army Reserves, worked at the Post Office for 22 1/2 years, started coaching youth sports. I re-dedicated my life to God in 1996, became an ordained Deacon in 1997, licensed minister in 2008, ordained Elder in 2013, which led me to starting my own ministry in 2015, as a Pastor. I've enjoyed working in the Prince Georges County Public School system for the past 16 years, helping guide our youth to a positive life of prosperity. I look forward to continuing my love, faith, service, and commitment to God for the rest of my life. The Broken Legacy stops here, right now.
