Phillip Max was born in Torrance, California in 1980. A Camino Story is his first self-published novel and perhaps his last. He is of Peruvian and Costa Rican decent who has lived all his life as a modern nomad among the geographical map of beautiful Southern California. His experiences and character have led him to take an artist's journey and write of the world he see's growing and crumbling before him.
