Israel is an orphaned kitten adopted by a girl named Filastin, who provides him with shelter, food, and lots of love. However, month after month, Israel takes over every inch of the house, relegating Filastin to a few uncomfortable corners. One day, the girl decides to rebel and engages in a battle with the feline, only to be defeated. It will only be thanks to the intervention of three women "experts in complicated solutions" (Africa, Europe, and America) that Filastin and Israel manage to reach an agreement for peaceful coexistence. A fairy tale to never stop believing in peace, Israel is a kitten who, shortly after birth, loses his mother to a wicked man with the intention of exterminating all the cats in the world. It's Filastin, a splendid girl, who finds him hungry and frightened under a sage bush. She has no doubts about what to do: feed him, take care of him, and give him a safe place to live peacefully. Thanks to the love of the young girl, Israel grows strong and beautiful. Day after day, he captures Filastin's heart, and month after month, he also conquers her home. When she realizes it, it's already too late...
Autorenporträt
Tatiana Sabina Meloni, born in 1985 in Genoa on All Saints` Day, has nothing saintly about her. She drops out of university in her second year, majoring in Modern Literature, and delves into the world of work, pursuing private studies in the editorial field and becoming a freelance editor and graphic designer. She makes her debut as an author in 2015 using the pseudonym T.S. Mellony and, since then, has published several stories, many of which are included in the anthologies by Nero Press Edizioni (Deep Love 2, Summer of Blood, Jingle Bloody Bells 2, Crimes in the Sun, Creepypasta, Cursed Houses, To Flesh with Crime). Some of her works also appear in collections for charitable purposes. On April 1, 2019 (and it`s no joke), under the Nero Press Edizioni label, she releases The Escape Game. On April 25, 2020, she self-publishes Nero - Stories of Love, Death, and Other Nonsense, a collection that gathers all her previously published stories. In 2021, she translates and publishes The Open Door by Charlotte Riddell under the independent label Veleno Edizioni. In October 2022, once again with Nero Press Edizioni, she publishes the long noir story The Saint and the Monster. In October 2023, she self-publishes the fairy tale for children A Cat Named Israel: A Story of Hospitality, Conflict, and Hope.
