Ryan Butta has spent the last twenty years observing and writing on the machinations of Latin American politics. Growing up in Australia, he first travelled to Latin America in the 1990s. He later returned to Argentina where he worked as a corporate intelligence consultant, advising multinational companies on political risk, fraud, corruption and extortion. Working across the continent, he has had a front row seat to many of the major corruption scandals that have rocked Latin America in the past 15 years. He is a passionate story teller and now lives in Adelaide, Australia with his wife Carolina.
