Dr. Irvin PeDro Cohen is currently the Executive Director of the New Town Success Zone (www.newtownsuccesszone.com) in Jacksonville, FL. He is also a consultant on issues of social economic status, particularly in the areas of urban education, health and economics. He currently serves on the Council for the Social Status of Black Men and Boys in the State of FL, the University of North FL's Dean's Council and the Center for Urban Education at the University of North FL.
