Her articles on Christian finance have been featured in various church mediums and Christian publications, including magazines and journals. Mrs. McFarland is a dynamic, heart-felt, action-provoking speaker, who delivers a biblically-based message diverse with everyday examples and strives to live out her personal brand of serving by adding value and exceeding expectations. Shalonda and her husband Doug have five children, Rakaya, Doug Jr., Mariah, Jordan, and Melanie, and reside in the Houston, Texas area.
