Lise M. Bedard is a Canadian who was born and raised in the North End of Sudbury, Ontario, called the Flour Mill. She still lives there and is a long-standing parishioner at St Jean de Brebeuf church. She is fluent in French and English. She has three children and grandchildren whom she keeps very close by. From an early age, she loved to read and write. A Christmas Candle is her second children's book. Her first children's book was ROO.
