Howard Jacobson, Ph.D. (1967) in Classics, Columbia University, is Professor of the Classics and Comparative Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana. He publishes extensively in Classics and Judaica and is the author of Ezekiel's Exagoge (Cambridge, 1983).
