Autorenporträt
James R. Lewis is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Tromsÿ and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Wales, Trinity St. David. He is a highly-published scholar of new religious movements and co-founder of the International Society for the Study of New Religions. He co-edits Ashgate's New Religions series with George Chryssides. Recent publications include (co-authored with Nicolas Levine) The Children of Jesus and Mary (2010), Violence and New Religious Movements. (2011), (co-edited with Olav Hammer) Religion and the Authority of Science (2011), and Cults: A Reference and Guide (2012).
