The last collection of essays is Ross s 1985 Studies in the Alexander Romance. A new book would also follow on from the Companion to Alexander the Great commissioned for our classics list. The chapters would offer: a critical overview of current research in the major linguistic traditions, written by 14 experts in the field.

Z. David Zuwiyya, Ph.D. (1995) in Spanish, University of California, Santa Barbara, is Professor of Spanish at Auburn University. He has published extensively on the Alexander romance and Aljamiado literature, including Islamic Legends concerning Alexander the Great (Binghamton, NY, 2001)
