This book focuses on how history education has been mainstreamed in the colonially inherited educational systems of Cameroon for the service of national unity, integration and cohesion. In other words; what has been the objectives of history education in the secondary school curriculum in Cameroon? How has this subject evolved over time? What differences and or similarities exist in the History education syllabi in Cameroon secondary schools since independence and reunification and what has been the outcome of these in post colonial Cameroon?
