British English, usually the 'Standard form' refers to the Queen's English, the BBC English, the Oxford English or the Received Pronunciation. Md. Faruquzzaman Akan is now working at King Khalid University, KSA as a regular faculty member in the College of Languages and Translation. He has been teaching English as a second and foreign language for more than 20 years. He has written many books on the English language and published some research articles.
