Fishes that are chosen (Air breathing) can well tolerate the low BOD water may be suitable for effluent treatment ecosystem and associated fish meal production. 2. A simple protocol for the manipulation of key environmental factors at the productive system for the maximum yield was demonstrated. 3. A methodology to calculate shortest possible inter-spawning intervals for economical breeding was demonstrated. 4. All the results obtained by these experiments can be adopted as such in productive system.
