Identifying users need and also participation of users in selection of information sources definitely adds to worth of library collection and services. Documentation is the detailed process of classifying, indexing, abstracting, labeling and shelving it in proper order to enable users to access it easily. Role of professional and trained staff having rich experience is more important in documentation process. Success of library services depends upon documentation. Dissemination of information to the users is the last function of library. It includes variety of services such as announcement, CAS, SDI, abstracting, information literacy etc which is familiar and user oriented. It thus maximizes the use of library contents.
