Produktbeschreibung
This book "A Concise Primer to Inheritance Law in Islam" is a compendium of legal positions, validity and application of the law of succession in Islam as ordained by Allah and enunciated by the Prophet of Islam. It discusses the hermeneutical nature of Qur'anic law of inheritance, socio-legal and religious importance of Islamic Succession Law, the importance of equity and justice as regards inheritance, inheritance causes, pillars, pre-requisite and conditions in Islam, the Qur'anic prescribed fixed shares, the legal heirs, impediments to succession, concept, condition and importance of bequest (Al-Wasiyyah) in Islam, exclusion (Al-Hajb), concepts of inheritance re-adjustment such as aggravation( Al-'Awl) and return of residue or reversion (Ar-Radd) among others. It also beams searchlight on some contemporary issues such as inheritance on the basis of the difference in religion, inheritance of oath-taking spouses and the apostasy which have generated hot debates among the scholars, jurists and would-to-be inheritors. The employment of lucid legal terminologies was aimed at demystifying the wrong perception of complexity possessed by many as regards Islamic Inheritance.
